Update on Cleansing

In June, the Community Council held a well-attended Public Meeting.
The aim was to air issues from residents and be clear that we are following up the right issues.

Since then we have met with MSPs and also with Glasgow City Council representatives to raise the issues. Those issues encompass: bin collection, street litter, bulk dumping, reporting and commercial waste. Pest control and enforcement are related issues too.

Earlier this month we had noted disappointment that we are not making faster progress, and have contacted the head of LES, the council division that deals with Cleansing (You can read the full letter here).
And recently we have had continuing engagement with the newly appointed Neighbourhood Manager.

We will report back with answers we receive and then consider further actions.
